Spotless recently announced the acquisition of Nuvo, a leading electrical contracting and technology services firm that will broaden the company’s service capabilities and enhance customer service offerings.
Nuvo provides Spotless with another layer of capability to further enhance its TechGuard Security team. Its technical advisors, engineers and installers are skilled across data platforms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, high and low voltage electricity, building technologies, audio visual, lighting, solar and battery storage systems.
“This is a modest acquisition which has strong growth potential, adds to our capability, has a contract footprint in our priority sectors including tertiary education and health and will make a positive contribution to our FY17 result through combined offerings with other Spotless services,” said Spotless CEO Martin Sheppard.
Drawing on over 30 years in the commercial security sector, TechGuard’s newly appointed National Manager of Security Electronics and Technology, Brett McCall, will help lead the division and deliver innovation through environmental & technical design. The team will also focus on physical & technical infrastructure, emerging security technologies such as biometrics and behavioural analytics, remote monitoring & surveillance supported by highly engaged manpower services.
