ASRC: Masterclass #1 Venue and Event Security

Sporting and entertainment venues as well as events are places as mass gathering and are known targets for terrorists. The Australian Security Research Centre is hosting a half day Masterclass on Venue and Event Security.

The Masterclass is offered to professionals interested in or responsible for: protection of sites and activities, counter-terrorism planning and policy, social cohesion, sport administration and security and emergency management.

The Masterclass will be presented by Mr John Arthur.  John has been the security manager for the Victorian Arts Centre and the MCG. He has a rich work history in venue management and the management of teams of all sizes.
