As organisations rush to deploy AI agents across critical business functions, OutSystems has launched a new Agentic Systems Platform designed to address growing concerns around governance, security and digital sovereignty.
The platform, unveiled at the company’s ONE Conference in Amsterdam, aims to give enterprises greater visibility and control over agentic AI environments while reducing dependence on individual AI model providers.
The launch comes amid increasing scrutiny of how organisations manage AI workloads, particularly as autonomous agents gain access to sensitive business systems, data and workflows.
OutSystems said its new platform is built around the Enterprise Context Graph, providing a centralised framework for governing AI agents, applications and data interactions across the enterprise.
A key component is the new OutSystems Agent Experience layer, which provides enterprises with a governed environment for building, orchestrating and managing AI agents through trusted A2A and MCP services.
The company has also expanded its collaboration with AWS while introducing new runtime isolation and self-hosting capabilities. According to OutSystems, these features will allow organisations to deploy AI workloads in environments aligned with specific regulatory, security and sovereignty requirements.
For security leaders, the announcement addresses one of the emerging challenges of agentic AI: how to maintain governance and auditability when autonomous systems are making decisions and interacting with enterprise resources.
