SaaS Surge Powers Commvault’s FY26 Results as Cyber Resilience Demand Climbs

Commvault has posted a strong set of fiscal 2026 results, driven by rapid growth in SaaS and subscription services as organisations prioritise cyber resilience and data security.

SaaS revenue rose 43 per cent in the fourth quarter to $93 million, helping lift total subscription revenue to $208 million. For the full year, SaaS revenue surged 52 per cent to $333 million, underlining a continued shift towards cloud-delivered solutions.

Total annual revenue reached $1.18 billion, up 19 per cent year-on-year, while subscription ARR climbed 27 per cent to $989 million. Overall ARR grew 21 per cent to $1.12 billion, reflecting strong customer demand for recurring, scalable services.

The company’s expanding partner ecosystem has played a key role in this growth. Recent integrations with Microsoft Security and CrowdStrike aim to provide deeper visibility across threat detection and response workflows. Meanwhile, a strategic alliance with NetApp is designed to deliver more tightly integrated cyber resilience solutions for enterprise customers.

Commvault has also strengthened its identity and threat intelligence capabilities, extending resilience to Okta environments and partnering with CloudSEK to tackle risks linked to exposed credentials.

CEO Sanjay Mirchandani said the company is well positioned to capitalise on growing demand as data volumes increase and cyber threats evolve, particularly in the context of AI adoption.

“Customers are looking for a unified platform that not only protects their data but ensures rapid recovery and continuous business operations,” he said.

For fiscal 2027, Commvault expects subscription revenue to reach between $1.115 billion and $1.125 billion, signalling ongoing strength in its core growth engine.
