Gigamon has announced Gigamon Insights, a new capability that leverages network telemetry and AI to provide instant guidance across hybrid cloud environments. The launch highlights deeper partnerships with AWS, Elastic, and Splunk, each of which has endorsed the move as a key step toward integrating observability and AI-driven security.
Elastic’s Santosh Krishnan described the collaboration as “a new layer of intelligence” for its security platform, while AWS director Olawale Oladehin emphasised the importance of continuous visibility in cloud adoption journeys. “Our collaboration with Gigamon helps customers detect threats faster and respond more effectively through AI,” he said.
At the heart of Gigamon Insights is a flexible architecture that allows enterprises to choose private models or integrate with existing LLM systems, giving organisations full control over sensitive data. This aligns with a broader shift among enterprises toward hybrid AI adoption, where in-house and third-party models coexist.
By enriching telemetry with Application Metadata Intelligence, Gigamon Insights delivers context-aware responses across cloud, network, and application layers. For example, an operator can quickly pinpoint congestion in AWS-hosted applications, a developer can isolate latency sources, or a security analyst can uncover hidden threats — all without switching tools.
Alan Weckel of 650 Group said the integration of AI and deep observability “will be central to how enterprises manage security and performance in the AI era.”
The solution is being previewed at Gigamon’s Visualyze Bootcamp event this week, with general availability planned for Q4 2025.
