Each delete action is logged and documented — providing a full audit trail for compliance purposes.
This feature is particularly useful for enforcing data minimisation principles under regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or Australia’s Privacy Act, where over-retention of data can pose legal and financial risks.
Compliant S3 Migration Protects Locked and Regulated Data
For organisations using Write Once Read Many (WORM) storage for regulated records, StorageMAP 7.3 offers secure object migration between S3-compatible platforms — preserving retention dates, legal holds, and other compliance attributes in transit.
Enterprises can also select S3 storage classes as part of the migration process, ensuring sensitive data lands in the right security or cost tier without requiring risky reconfiguration later.
