Radware Earns Leadership Recognition in Application and API Security by GigaOm

Cybersecurity vendor Radware has been recognised as both a “Leader” and a “Fast Mover” in the latest GigaOm Radar report evaluating application and API security providers. The report analysed 16 leading vendors in the sector, highlighting those delivering robust and adaptive protection against evolving cyber threats.

Radware’s solution stood out for its real-time AI-driven threat detection and multilayered security strategy. According to GigaOm, the company demonstrated strength in areas such as vulnerability detection, bot management, and protection against account takeovers.

The report cited Radware’s use of machine learning to detect anomalies and its proactive capabilities to adapt to emerging threats. GigaOm noted the vendor’s ability to offer “advanced protection and automated response” by going beyond the standard OWASP Top 10 security risks and addressing API vulnerabilities.

“Radware’s approach integrates AI-powered behavioural detection, preemptive threat blocking, and detailed mitigation controls,” the report said, calling it a “cutting-edge” option for organisations seeking comprehensive application security.

With businesses increasingly reliant on web applications and APIs to operate and interact with customers, securing these digital assets has become more critical—and complex. Radware’s system is designed to minimise false positives while providing continuous, adaptive protection.

The company’s broader security portfolio includes tools for bot detection, web application firewalls, client-side protections, and defence against application-layer DDoS attacks. Radware has also received recognition from other industry analysts including Forrester and Gartner.

This latest accolade reflects growing industry demand for smarter, automated security measures in an era of escalating cyber risk.
