Australian security integrators PMT Security have been recognised for outstanding growth at the inaugural Globalization Partners’ 2021 PANGEO Awards ceremony. The awards capped off a major three day global employment conference that was attended by more than 7000 people worldwide. The highlight of the opening day was a fireside chat with legendary businessman Sir Richard Branson and the founder and CEO of the world’s leading employer of record solution, Globalization Partners, Nicole Sahin.
PMT Security won the category “Most Outstanding Growth of the Year”. Twelve awards were given out, shared between companies from diverse backgrounds including African startups, tech companies from the United States and entrants from Bangladesh and Germany.
Awards were presented in the following categories: Best Remote Culture; Start-up Most Likely to Succeed; Largest Country Expansion of the Year; Largest Global Workforce Expansion of the Year; Most Outstanding Growth of the Year and Most Innovative Company of the Year.
PMT Security announced in June that the company has seen double digit growth year-on-year for the past three years. The announcement of a new Telecommunications and Remediation division went live in late October. The company is also about to make its first foray overseas, with a major project in Japan.
“It is no secret that we have been on a strong growth curve for a while now, and continue to explore new markets and expand our services. We are winning some of the biggest security contracts in Australia these days, working with the likes of major national banks and retailers. That being said, we still take absolute pride in offering the same personal touch that we always have. I think it is for this reason we are being recognised for major global awards such as this,” said Paul Newby, Brand Development Manager at PMT Security.
The PANGEO Awards ceremony was watched live by a global audience on October 21, 2021.
“We would like to thank Globalization Partners for their recognition and this award. It means a lot to us to be in such esteemed company. We feel like we have been kicking goals Down Under, but to have our work recognised on the global stage like this is extra special,” concludes Newby.
PMT Security was founded in 1979, and started life as a company of two people. It is now represented in every state in Australia, with a workforce of over 100 employees. The company provides security deployments and other associated services to some of Australia’s biggest and most widely recognised organisations.
