Capitol Hill and The Insider Threat

In this episode, we speak with Julian Claxton about the recent security breach of the Capitol building in the US and the possible security implications. What sorts of threats might a breach of this type entail and what can organisations learn from this experience to help enhance their own security?

Julian is a Behavioural Scientist with specific expertise in the provision of technical surveillance countermeasures, credibility assessments, strategic security planning, and counterespionage. Julian holds a Master’s Degree (MSc.) in Communication, Behaviour and Credibility Analysis, a Postgraduate Diploma in Behavioural Analysis and Investigative Interviewing with a focus on identifying deceptive behaviour amongst trusted insiders.

Julian offers more than three decades of demonstrable experience, having started his career as an Army Reservist, whilst developing unique skills in security, surveillance and investigations. After ten years servicing the corporate sector as an investigator and technical specialist, he then turned his focus to surveillance-detection and counterespionage support.
