Occupational Violence, Aggression and Duty of Care in Security

In this episode of the Security Insider podcast, we speak with Joe Saunders about the recently released Australian Security Research Centre (ASRC) report into Occupational Violence, Aggression and Duty of Care in Australia.

The report, funded and supported by the Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL) and the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM) examines a number of industries including private security with a view to better understanding how to address and manage current gaps in process and procedures around the management of occupational violence and aggression in the workplace.

About the speaker

One of the principal authors of the report, Joe Saunders is an Australian security consultant, author, speaker and former security operative. He holds a BA in Psychological Science and Graduate Certificate in Psychology of Risk.

In addition to his role as Research Coordinator – Workplace Violence in Australia with the Australia Security Research Centre, Joe also serves as Vice Chair (Australia/NZ) Institute of Strategic Risk Management while also hosting his own Podcast – Managing Violence.
