AUSTRALIA’S BEST YOUNG LOCKSMITH 2012

Andrew Meier is Australia’s Best Young Locksmith

After a rigorous process with applicants from across Australia, Andrew Meier from Bensons Locksmith in Alexandria, NSW has been awarded the title of 2012 Australia’s Best Young Locksmith.

It was challenging for the judging panel to select just one person from the number of talented applicants.

“Andrew stood out as the most well rounded applicant,” said Mark Johnson. “He not only has great technical skills but also has excellent people skills and business awareness.”

Geoff Ross noted “To be a successful locksmith is more than just locks. Our industry is rapidly evolving and has a strong move towards electronic security, swipe cards, CCTV and so on. It is a lot to keep on top of as well as providing great customer service and adding value to the business that employs you.”

In acknowledgement of his achievement, Andrew and his partner will be flown to Melbourne for a tour of several industry specialist sites as well as enjoying a great evening out and accommodation in the city. He will also receive a trophy (as pictured on the cover) and be the ambassador for the industry for the next 12 months.

A full feature will appear in our January issue of the LSC Newsletter recognising Andrew’s achievement in becoming Australia’s Best Young Locksmith in 2012.
