Radware has completed the acquisition of Pynt, an API security testing specialist, in a move designed to strengthen API protection from development through to production. By adding pre-production testing to its existing runtime defences, Radware is extending its API security coverage across the full application lifecycle.
As APIs continue to power digital services, organisations face increasing exposure from logic flaws, misconfigurations and undiscovered vulnerabilities. The integration of Pynt’s API security testing with Radware’s API discovery, posture management and runtime protection enables earlier identification of security risks and continuous protection once applications go live.
According to Radware, the acquisition bridges the long-standing gap between shift-left testing and shift-right runtime defence. “With Pynt, we help customers focus on meaningful API security risk rather than chasing alerts,” said Haim Zelikovsky, vice president of cloud security business at Radware. “By unifying testing and production-grade protection, organisations can align development velocity with stronger security outcomes.”
