To address this challenge, Datadobi has elevated Daniel Esposito to Vice President of Global Alliances, tasking him with building a global ecosystem of service partners focused on unstructured data governance and transformation. The move underscores Datadobi’s view that unstructured data management has become a strategic discipline requiring architectural expertise, not just infrastructure.
Esposito, who brings more than two decades of IT experience and has spent over nine years shaping Datadobi’s partner strategy, argues that AI is fundamentally changing customer expectations.
“This isn’t about transactional partnerships it’s about building a category,” Esposito said. “Enterprises are realising that AI initiatives fail without clean, governed, and well-understood data. Storage systems and cloud platforms alone don’t solve that problem. It takes skilled partners who can design, implement, and operate data management strategies end to end.”
Using Datadobi’s StorageMAP platform, partners are able to help customers analyse, classify, migrate, and govern unstructured data across complex hybrid environments turning data from a cost and compliance burden into a strategic asset.
Under Esposito’s leadership, Datadobi plans to expand its global alliances team and invest heavily in partner enablement, training, and go-to-market programs. The goal is to equip service providers with the tools and expertise needed to support enterprise AI, compliance, and data modernisation initiatives at scale.
