The partnership will see Milestone deploy and fine-tune its advanced Vision Language Model (VLM) for traffic and smart city applications on DCAI’s EU-based Gefion supercomputer.

Millions of cameras across Europe capture valuable footage daily, yet much of this information goes unused due to the time required to manually review video. Milestone addresses this challenge through its cutting-edge VLM, built in collaboration with NVIDIA using the NVIDIA Cosmos Reason platform.

By running Milestone’s Hafnia VLM on DCAI’s Gefion cloud, all data processing, training, and deployment remain within Europe’s sovereign compute environment.
