Software intelligence company, Dynatrace, today announced the appointment of Hope Powers as Vice President of Sales for Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney, Powers brings 20 years of global sales industry expertise from the automotive, hospitality and technology industries.
In her new role, Powers will support Dynatrace as the company expands to meet escalating regional demand for software intelligence at a time when organisations continue to digitally transform and migrate to dynamic multi-clouds. As part of this effort, Powers will focus on fostering closer engagement with ANZ channel partners and hyper scalers to deliver observability to the region’s largest enterprises.
“We are thrilled to welcome Hope to Dynatrace. Her broad exposure to sales organisations across the globe and her breadth of leadership experience spanning multiple industries will be instrumental as we look to expand our support for enterprises as they go through their digital transformation journeys,” says Maury Garavello, Vice President, APAC, Dynatrace.
“We are committed to adopting a partnership mindset and collaborating closely with businesses so they can deliver reliable, high-performing services to their customers, even during challenging times. Hope champions this kind of partnership which prioritises customers’ evolving needs, and we are very much looking forward to the impact her approach will have on the success of our ANZ customers.”
Powers joins Dynatrace following 19 years at CA Technologies where most recently she was Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand. During this time, she was responsible for driving sales, building the partner ecosystem, developing new business and managing overall operations in the region.
Prior, she held several senior sales and customer portfolio management positions for CA Technologies’ Emerging Markets, Asia Pacific and Japan regions based in several locations around the world, including Miami, Florida, where Powers was based primarily.
“Dynatrace’s innovative technology along with its vibrant corporate culture is what excited me most about joining the team,” says Powers. “Dynatrace calls its ecosystem of employees, partners and customers a village. This community mentality is absolutely the way to succeed in a fast-moving digital world.”
A surge in the use of digital technology has placed increased pressure on organisations to deliver excellent customer experiences via cloud services. Dynatrace’s enterprise-scale AIOps enable organisations to accelerate digital transformation and achieve multi-cloud automation, including continuous discovery, proactive anomaly detection, and optimisation across the full software lifecycle. This unique combination helps the world’s largest enterprises tame cloud complexity, speed innovation, and deliver superior customer experiences.
